We try to dismantle the dominant school of thought and create an alternative discourse. Our work is not merely a collection of studies; it is an initiative to dismantle the repressive dominant discourse. We do not have the conventional "Vision," "Mission," or "Goals." Instead we operate with a Living Architecture of Resistance through the declaration, manifesto, provocations, and ground of struggle.

Decolonizing Knowledge and Reclaiming Marginalized Narratives

We refuse to participate in a "banking model" of education that serves only to maintain the global treadmill of production and social stagnation.
The Centre for Critical Discourse (CCD) stands as an intentional intervention against the epistemic violence of colonial knowledge and the dominant schools of thought. We exist to foster an alternative discourse, to hegemony the narratives-discourses emerging from the margins, and to claim the ground back for the underpinned forces of organic intellectual silenced by power structures.

Bridging Critical Theory and Grassroots Activism

We employ critical methods with a strong emphasis on action research. Our methods are participatory, transformative, and express solidarity with oppressed communities. The Centre for Critical Discourse (CCD) exists to identify problems and co-develop solutions with the people. In alignment with our action research methods, our intersection of theory and praxis is enacted within participatory workshops, public discourse analysis, grassroot activisms, and the action oriented synthesis of radical art, film, and writings.
